    Can’t play with Friend on Old Gen


    Hello,

    Today i bought Grand Theft Auto: Online (so only the Online Version) on my Xbox Series S, and wanted to play with my friend who owns the Full Game (Story Mode+Online) on his Xbox One S.

    The problem is, when he invites me, i cannot join his game because as soon as i open the invite notification (in-game i don’t get an invite like he does), it redirects me to buy the full game, and when i invite him, he gets my in-game invite but can’t join and gets an Error message saying he “can’t play with Series S/X platform”

    Does anyone know a solution and is willing to help us?

    Sorry to give you the bad news but crossplay is not possible between Series X/S edition and Xbox One/S edition

    Rockstar didn't give the option to the players

    If you download both versions of fifa onto your console (series x version and Xbox one version) you can play with friends who have old gen and new gen
