Can't play with Disney Infinity 3.0

Hello! I bought online a game for my son. Disney Infinity 3.0. It took since past Sunday to download. Finally today we could start using the game but we were unable to do it, because apparently it needs some kind of device that we didn't know about, can't
get in Argentina and can't afford even if we could get it here. Too expensive for my wallet. I was wondering if I could get another version of the game instead, one that does not need accessories for the XBOX 360 or in case that was not possible, if by any
chance I could return the game and get a refund. Thanks! Sabrina

Yes, it just has to be the same system.

I bought Disney 2.0 base and it works fine with the digital download of 3.0.

The reason 3.0 is available digitally and 2.0 wasn't

#4 – All-new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games will allow you to play with all of your Disney, Disney•Pixar, MARVEL, and Star Wars™ characters from Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 together.

Sorry to hear it. As is stated in the description of the game the Disney Infinity base and at least one character is required to play the game. There is no way around this.

If you would like to request a refund you'll need to contact phone support as only they can handle refund requests. Here is the number for Argentina:

I have Disney Infinity 3.0 & have never had to have or been asked for Disney Infinity 2.0..

DI 3.0 will play any of the previous playsets.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars is split screen also.

Theory of Game

Disney Infinity 3.0 for the Xbox 360 will not be coming to backwards compatibility because of the USB accessory needed to play that is incompatible with the Xbox One.
