Cant play splitscreen with a guest

hey community,

Xbox one s

I‘d like to play cod ww 2 with my brother or a friend splittscreen. But every time the second controller presses A I am asked to create a new microsoft account. I am sure there is a another way of playing together with just a temporary login for guest.

One guy told me to look at the guestsettings, but i couldn‘t find it

Please help

4 player split screen extinct?

Remember when you could go online in splitscreen multiplayer and the second player was named guest? Example: player 1-, player2- (guest)

I have played splitscreen and my partner signed in as "Guest" with no problems

Hi, as far as I am aware, there are no guest setting for the game, an account has to be logged in to play split screen, Not 100%, but I am 80% sure.

Trumpetnerd34 your friend can play with you on Xbox live splitscreen if he is a guest with no Gamertag and if you have Xbox Live. If you putted him as a guest try disable the "multiplayer server" (when you create a world) check and see if it works. Hope

Call of Duty, Halo also allows guest players on non competitive matches by Splitscreen online. Just activate with the 2nd controller to log a guest or another account in when in the game lobby.
