Can't play shadow of war through xbox play anywhere

I recently installed Middle Earth: Shadow of War on my computer since it was in my ready to install section since I bought it on my xbox one. However when i try to play it I can't get past the starting screen because when I try to start it says a profile
is required, and it brings up a new window that instantly goes away, and when i try to play again it loops over and theres nothing i can do about it as far as I know. Any help with this would be appreciated I just want to know if I should give up on or if
I can get it to work.

Play anywhere question

This has to do with SoW, but also Play Anywhere. I bought the disc of Shadow of War when it released. For Play Anywhere, can I use the disc or does it have to be the digital version?

Play Anywhere Game Pass

Hi, I have de Game pass on my Xbox. I see on web site that some Game are in Play Anywhere Like Gear of wars 4 and Sea of thieves. But Some other one are play anywhere too like Zoo tycoon, super lucky tales, recore, halo wars and halo wars 2. But this games
I can't play on my PC why isn't play anywhere?

Sea of thieve and Gears of wars 4 I can play on my Pc but not all the other one. I need to buy it but I have de game on game pass so Why I can't play?

If I select the game one Microsoft Store, I just can install it on my xbox but not on PC.

war will not start up properly after installing?

I suggest you to run the app troubleshooter:

• Press
  Windows
  Key+X.
• Click
  Control Panel.
• Select
  Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on
  View All.
• Click on
  Windows Store app
  to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Try this method: Run the
System File Checker tool(SFC.exe).

System File Checker is a utility in
Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in
Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It will scan your system files and to repair missing or corrupted system files in
Windows.

Also, please try to perform a
clean boot,
this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in
Windows 10. After trying these steps, restart both the pc and Xbox One X.

I tried all of these and it stills say I need to sign in with a profile in order to play but theres no option for it in the starting screen for the game.

Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:



1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.



2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.



3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage



4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Try this for us, sign into the app again afterwards and test if the game then allows entry.

Still not working but I think has something to do with the smaller window that pops up and goes away. It just shows up when I push a key to go to the main menu and it just has a small picture of the shadow of war cover picture from the Microsoft store
and then closes
