    Can’t play Rocket League, says I need to renew Game Pass


    Alright so I’ve had the Game Pass for about 4 or 5 months now and never had any issues. For whatever reason, when I try to launch Rocket League I’m getting a message saying “Looks like you need to renew Xbox Game Pass. If your subscription is current,
    try quitting and relaunching the game. If you tried to launch this from a disc, check the disc—it might be dirty or damaged. (0x803f800e)” My subscription automatically renews and it was renewed on 11/15/19. Plus, I was playing Rocket League literally an hour
    ago. This is a problem specific to Rocket League, all the other games work and I can install new games. So what’s the deal here?

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with launching Rocket League via Xbox Game Pass. You may want to

    remove your account     from your Xbox One console and add it back on after performing a

    Power-Cycle    .

    Tried restarting, doesn’t work. Can’t quit the game because it won’t even open. I’m signed in, I’m the owner of the Xbox. Social and gaming is up and running, and I’m not about to purchase a game I should be able to play with my subscription. Any other
    help would be appreciated.

    I had to contact support. The wait time was like 40 minutes but it’s taken care of now. Try and reach out to support, they’ll refresh your subscription and then it should work.

    I don’t understand why they would need to check the status of my membership when I can go to my account and see I was charged on the 14th! I was using my Xbox earlier today with no issues, left the house to run an errand, came back, and now nothing is
