Can't play online, Xbox one told me to get Gold after i just entered 48H Gold prepaid code!

Hi,

Since yesterday i can't play online with my friend, after entered a 48H Gold Trial code, Xbox One says it's ok, but when i tried to join friends, Xbox One told me to get Gold account!...

On status page i get this message... "buying and using content" Limited (translated from french!)

Do every people on live is getting this error or just me? :S

Issues with prepaid codes not working after being entered.

Today, August 23, I enter a prepaid code for a 14 day trial of xbox live gold because my gold subscription had run out. After I entered the code it confirmed it and said I now have the 14 day xbox live gold trial. But, when I went to play Titanfall or any
other online game it keeps on telling me to upgrade to Xbox live gold. I then entered in a 48 hour xbox live gold trial prepaid code because I thought the last code was messed up, and it confirmed it but then did not work again on any online game!!! Please
help.

Xbox-live gold doesn't work

Hello everybody,

I just bought a prepaid xbox-live gold card from the internet. I recieved the code and entered it on my Xbox one. Every thing seemed to be fine, I can download games with gold and the settings tell me that my account is just fine and expires after three
months. But the only problem is: I can't play online games. It says "missing multiplayer privileges". Could someone please help me try figuring this out?!

everything shorter than 1month is considered Trial Gold, it wont Show as a subscription and it wont enable games/deals with gold and is only supposed to enable online Feature for its bundled Content, other Features may but are not guaranteed to be available.

Trial codes do not change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. They do not work with all games or all game modes.

I have gold with the prepaid cards and it doesn't work either so it's just a crap service if you ask me...I pay for having gold and still can't play online wtf?

I ran into this same problem last night when I renewed xbox live gold with a 12 month prepaid card. When I entered the code from the 12 month prepaid card the xbox store gave me an error (without an error code) and said to try back later. When I did the
xbox store told me the code had already been redeemed.

I then checked my subscription status in my xbox settings and it said that my gold expires October 2017, so the prepaid card code worked, except that I cannot download games with gold, or access deals with gold from my xbox one console.

I successfully downloaded Assassins' Creed Chronicles China from the microsoft store by logging in to xbox.com this morning, but I was not able to download that game last night from my console.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

I opened my guide and clicked on redeem code. I then typed in my code and clicked enter when it then told me that the code is a 3M Prepaid Gold so I clicked redeem for the second time and I got "There is a problem with the Xbox Services, please try again
later". Status Code: 80161C3

It is annoying me that this is happening and hasn't yet been resolved when my Xbox Live Gold membership runs out in 4 days...
