Can’t play online on my sons account

I can assist you with some things. But if the issue persists (or if it's an issue with the Steam account permissions) you may need to reach Steam support.

First, is this happening with every steam game or only with War thunder?
Are you using your Microsoft (I mean, for your child) account to play this game directly or is not related?
Also, what error are you receiving inside war thunder?

I’ve tried and I’ve tried and it’s not working I’ve just put a voucher on my sons account and he’s bout the console pass instead of the Xbox live monthly pass so he can’t get online

Did your sons wheel end up working? My son is having the same issues and is crushed he can’t play. Also, spending $400 on the wheel, were not happy he can’t use it anymore. Hoping there’s been a fix.

No - friends signing into their accounts (that they own) and playing. My son is getting notifications that his friends are logging into their own accounts and playing online. So I believe my son's account is locked still - but not deactivated.

Looks like we are waiting on the security team my sons recovery was escalated to?

Well glad to hear it may not be a user error. I’m not totally tech savvy, but don’t like paying for a product and not being able to use all the features.

I’ll give it a week or so- if it’s not resolved, who do I share the issue with?
