    Can't Play Online Multiplayer XBOX One [ Xbox Live Subscription ]


    Just bought a 12 month gold plan but whenever i open a multiplayer game it prompts me to purchase gold again. Account says subscription is active and I'm connected to the internet. Tried deleting profile and re adding, restarting xbox, etc. but nothing worked.
    Not sure how to get this working.

    I need HELP ( I Can't Play Online Multiplayer ) XBOX One X [ Xbox Live 12 month Subscription ] Any Ideas?

    I just redeemed a 12 month subscription from an Xbox Live card from Best Buy and I can't play online.

    I tried two different games. Read all of the online guides.

    Xbox shows my subscription is active. Network connections good. Nat open.

    Xbox status says: Limited Purchase and Content

    Is there a fix for this?

    Xbox Lives basically the online portion of Xbox.

    A gold subscription (live membership/subscription) is required to do certain things on Live (like play online multiplayer). Xbox live account usually means an account with gold.

    Xbox live gold system is kinda scam!!!

    You need Xbox Live to play online multiplayer. There are a lot of titles out there that do not require you to have live to play.

    Playing on any gaming console online will require you to purchase a subscription to have access to the online multiplayer severs. PlayStation Plus is the same cost as Xbox Live, and they require you to have a subscription to play certain games online as
    well.

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this inquiry. I understand you're Xbox Live Gold subscription has expired and you're wondering why you are unable to play Fortnite multiplayer online. The reason for that is that the Xbox Live Gold subscription
    is what gives you access to play online multiplayer from your Xbox One. You would have to renew you're subscription to access the online features of the game. Hope this information helps

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Xbox 1 - The console where you can play the game online without any issues.

    Xbox 2 - The Xbox where you can't play the game online.

    This means that on the Xbox 1 one account is set as Home Xbox wherein it has an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    An Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to play a paid online multiplayer game.

    Since you mentioned Xbox, do either of your accounts have an Xbox Live subscription? If playing on an Xbox, you need a subscription to play multiplayer games unless the game is one of the Free to Play games. Minecraft is not Free to Play so you need a subscription to play online on the Xbox.
