Can't play online franchise with friends

I own madden 24 and I am trying to play a online franchise with my friends and it won't let me. Keeps telling me I need game pass but I have xbox live gold. Please help

Check your subscriptions at http://account.microsoft.com Gold was discontinued in September. You need Game Pass Core or Ultimate to play online.

Well I went in and there seems to be no NAT problems... everything is running fine... I wondering if that new update screwed with something...

It most likely is a hardware settings issue Valiu.

If you could run through this guide on
multiplayer and party problems due to NAT settings it might help you, its worth checking anyway.

However if your settings are all correct it may well be an issue at your friends end.

meanwhile every console franchise is taking a fee for online gaming. Only free2play games can be played online without a sub.

You could recommend your friend the Microsoft Rewards program. If your friend frequently collect points (I do that nearly every day) your friend will be able to redeem them for a game pass sub.
