    Hey,

    So today I bought a one month prepaid card of xbox live. I then used the code and I got a successful message. However after I tried playing online games it prompted me to buy xbox live or sign into an account with xbox live. I can download the free game
    with gold and even in my subscriptions in the settings says that I have xbox live gold. Please help me. I'm dying to play ESO.

    Trial codes don't change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. They will not work with all games or all game modes.
