Can't play online and just redeemed a xbox live gold gift card

Xbox live gold gift card has been redeemed. Can't seem to see if we are xbox live gold subscribers

There is xbox live game pass gift cards same with xbox live gold gift cards. Currency gift cards can't really play for subscription payments.

yes xbox gift cards will work on pc,s and yes you need xbox live gold go for xbox live gold first.

"Xbox Live Gold" card is for buying the subscription for Xbox Live Gold, which your son will already have as he's able to play Fortnite online.

Xbox and Xbox Live cards should be same, but to be sure just buy the Xbox Gift card. That will let him buy the V-bucks.

A Live card would have a specific amount of gold time already on it and would not be redeemable towards a promotion. Once you redeem it, you would just have that amount of gold on your account.
