    Can’t play oblivion on series x using the disk


    Hi, throwing this here hoping to get some insight, I installed oblivion via game pass and I’m getting the infamous 0x80070002, I saw on xbox status that the purchase services have an issue and that may be the reason, so I decided to play inserting the disk I have from the original 360, but then I’m getting “Sorry, this game isn’t playable here”, looks like my xbox is determined to not let me play oblivion :/ any ideas/suggestions? I’m using a Series X on omega ring

    Yes if it's a disk copy you must use the full series x or the disk galaxy black series x not the digital only one

    You must patch the games on series x (update for.bc

    They ate just xbox series x or s

    It's to avoid confusion xbox one games are compatible with xbox one all versions except for disk games on digital and can use hdds

    Vs series consoles all digital series content work on series consoles

    But disk games work only on disk consoles and next gen storage

    If you are going to series s only digital games will work

    If you are going to series x both disk and digital will work as long as you have the disk to validate each time you play that game
