Cant play multiplayer games because of how your account is set up BUG?

Every time i try to do anything on xbox that requires permissions (adding friends, playing multiplayer games etc..) it says that my account is set up wrong and that i didnt have permissions to do said action. My xbox privacy settings have all of this set
to on so im not sure what the problem is. I can post screenshots of whatever you need if necessary. Thanks

battlefield 3 player to young

I purchased battlefield 3 but cant play multiplayer or online because the profile my son set up is our gamer profile. It says that player is to young to play. How can I edit profile to fix this problem.

 

multiplayer restrictions/

So my account was set up as a child account and i cant play multiplayer due to a restriction. My dad forgot the email and password to the adult account and he wants me to play multiplayer but i we cant change it. How do i fix this?

In order to play online and use all the features you would need an active Gold subscription on your Adult account.

If you check your subscription do you see active
Gold?

Do you know if your account is an adult account or a
child account?

Im playing on PC. Do I still need gold? Sorry i should have mentioned that in my original thread. My account is an adult account by the way.

 

You would not need Gold on a PC but having a child account would affect you.
