    Make sure that your privacy settings allow you to view content that other players create. Minecraft is all about creating content, so any restriction at all will keep you from entering a multiplayer game. Can't play multi-player minecraft xbox one :)

    I've turned all my sons restrictions off and he still can't play online. We have had so many issues with the account restrictions, I guess it's time to create fake profiles with over 18 ages just so my kids can play Minecraft...

    I'm also having a problem.

    Buddy can't join my game (server not responding error message then boots to main screen), and I can't join him (he gets same message).

    We chat and can play destiny together fine.

    Both on open NATs.

    Both gold Accounts, no restrictions.

    I've rebooted the xbox, router. There is no extra controller plugged in or charging at the time.

    Very frustrating. And he lives less than a mile away.

    I granted my child permissions to play multi-player minecraft and it continues to say he cannot play. How long does it take for new permissions to load in??

    If that's the case, that's ridiculous. I want to play minecraft multi-player on xbl, which I paid for both xbl and minecraft on my Xbox. But I can't play with my Playstation in the other room because they both are on my microsoft email. So I gotta put my son's microsoft email on the PS5 minecraft login and mine on the Xbox since xbl is exclusive to login email.... so lame.

    Is co-op multiplayer?

    Usually Co-op is followed by multiplayer when you're reading it. It takes more than one person to play therefore it is technically 'multi' player. However when people are talking about multi player they are usually referring to competitive multi player on
