    Recently, my Xbox One is not allowing me to join a realm I was able to access before, and is telling me that I cannot play online multiplayer because of how my account is set up. However, all my options are to allow multiplayer (I have double, and triple checked) I have gone through every fix I could, and none of it works. I don't know if this is a bug with the Xbox version of Bedrock edition, but it is incredibly frustrating.

    May I know if you have active an Xbox live gold or game pass ultimate (live gold is included with ultimate) subscription in your account?

    I ask this because you need live gold if you want to use online functionalities on the paid games

    Live gold was always required on Xbox consoles

    I actually don't have gold, but the thing is, I never had gold before and I was still able to join the realm, unless the rules around it suddenly changed.
