Cant play minecraft because it says im not old enough. I cant seem to update my date of birth

Hey my name is Renae and I am wondering if you could speed the process up. I have just purchased Minecraft however cant install it or play the game because apparently my date of birth on my Microsoft account says i was born in 2011. It wont let me update my Date of birth because i changed my phone number on the 1st of Jan and it says i cant access those details until the 1st of Feb once my phone number is updated. So i sit here wasted $40 because i cant play the game i want to because i cant seem to update my date of Birth. Can someone please contact me in regards to getting my date of birth updated before the 1/2/2022 that would be great. I can provide my birth certificate if need be. But i dont see why i cant update my date of birth myself.

because my sons account shows him as 11yrs old in UK his region nor birth date cant be changed till he turns 13.

Im having the same problem I dont think its due to the birth date but yeah my account is set to adult but I still cant change it 😣

i play on PC. I was added as a child because my birth date was wrong but i could change my birth date to the right one. I left the family account now im the organizer.
