Can't play games that force you to press A to start on screen

I can't play because when I press start, the saving screen appear and then the game come back to the start menu.

Not just that, the game starts no problem. I just can't get passed the "press start" screen.

Killjoyking7 : I'm having the same issue, It started after the the April update for The game (Killer Instinct)

Can't use my original profile to play the game until I switch profiles I have...

*Uninstaller the game and add ons

*delete the profile and really add the profile

*Turn of console for a while

Goes black screen right after you press Start in the title screen

Here is a work around.

-Log out of your account

-Boot up the game

-Hit start at the "Press Start" screen

-this will lead to the sign in screen

-Sign in and choose your memory device

-Play Terraria

The important step is to press start at the "Press Start" screen while not being signed into your profile.

You can get to that screen still signed in, sign out, hit start then sign back in and all will be well. Although if you're like me you wont be able to join multiplayer games. 505 games is aware of all these issues and will be releasing a fix soon.

Hi Jamie unfortunately I can't directly help you with resolving your issue however next time you console starts with a black screen before restarting the console try pressing and releasing LT , RT & Y buttons all together on the controller to force the dashboard
to refresh and hopefully get your dashboard back without needing to restart the console.
