    Can't play games and watch tv at same time.


    Whenever I try and snap tv or anything for that matter I can't do anything in the game screen until I unsnap. I am confused because the commercial shows dude playing and watching at the same time and I can't do that.

    Which X1 feature are you looking forward to using the most?

    Voice commands and Snap. Can't wait to play videogames and Skype at the same time or watch tv and Skype at the same time!!!

    Can't play games and watch tv at same time.

    double click the XBox button on your controller or say "XBox Switch."

    But yeah, I also expected it to allow me to function in the main screen by default and make me take some action to interact with the snapped screen.

    Maybe I'm alone on this but, once I'm in the game..I'M IN THE GAME! No TV, no desire to watch TV (which I hardly do anyway), I just focus on playing especially if I'm playing MP. But, I could see myself using the SNAP feature if I'm playing something that's
    slow...maybe.

    thats true. i havent grinded in a game since i played mmos on my pc, and when they shut down swg i decided to hang things up on that front.

    i thought i remember reading that killer instinct would not allow you to snap apps while playing and that developers could disable the feature, but i cannot find this anywhere so maybe it was bad information.

    From what I've read every game allows snapping, the developers don't have to even consider snapping apps because the apps are ran by a completely different OS to the games, and the "snap OS" has its own dedicated amount of power, so no impact to games.

    I actually have two TV's side by side so the snap thing doesn't excite me at all really. I'm always watching tv while I'm grinding in a game. :)
