Can't play game shared mw2

Hello OPwL, check if his account is set as main on your console, if the game was purchased on your friend's account and you can no longer play it is because he may have removed the account sharing with your console.

A few things you can try OP in this order.

1, Try to install the game to your HDD, if it installs then it 'may' read enough to boot from your disc. Depending how sever the damage is.

2, If you can not install your copy then borrow a friends copy or rent one and install that to your HDD. Again depending on the damage to your disc it may work.

3, Get the disc buffered at Blockbusters, it might well fix it.

4, Final option is to buy another copy of the game.

Hope one of the solutions that costs nothing helps.


If it does come to buying another copy you can pick the game up pre owned relatively cheap now.

There's still people playing COD: The Big Red One on PS2 and that game is ancient. I play MW2 still on another profile that's shared and I will be playing Black Ops for some time to come.

I am looking forward to a game that plays like MW2 without being MW2 if you know what I mean. The MP in MW and MW2 are better than the others in my opinion. Can't really explain why though.
