Can't play EA Play over Game Pass (for PC)

When I try to play an EA Play game trough XGP the EA Desktop app says " "Something went wrong..." To continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over.". (There is no way to head back and start linking my accounts)

I searched for the problem and apparently my Xbox Account is already connected to an EA Account but after checking both of the accounts I know of I couldn't find any connection to Xbox on EA's side. (Even after asking EA's customer support) Is there a way to find out or even remove whatever account is connected? I remember only using one account but as I already wrote there is no information about a connection.

When I try to log-in with my Xbox Account in the EA Desktop app it also didn't work because it asks me to reset my password which I did and after doing so it asks me again to change my password (loop).

I would love to use my XGP subscription to the fullest...

On this link, you can see which account your EA account is linked to, unlink and relink.

After doing this, use EA's recovery app, and when logging back into the app use the option to log in with your Xbox account (the same one that was used to link with your Xbox account)

If the problem persists, I'm afraid you will need to contact EA again. All account linking process is external and totally on the EA's side.

Is this on the console or PC? EA Play is included on the console with Game Pass Ultimate. EA Play will be available on the PC through Game Pass sometime this year.

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you want just EA Play without the Game Pass subscription, correct? Are you trying to keep your EA Play subscription for PC or in the Xbox?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is for both Xbox and PC, and it includes EA Play for both PC and Xbox.

Xbox Game Pass for PC is for PC games, and it includes EA Play for PC

EA Play for Xbox members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership on Xbox automatically canceled, and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:1

If you just want EA Play, you can purchase it separately for £3.99 / month or pay annually £19.99 / year EA Play - EA Video Game Membership - EA Official Site

You can also purchase EA play separately on the Xbox console by:

1. Pressing the Nexus Button

2. Navigate to and click on "My games & apps"

3. Select "See all"

4. Navigate to and click on "Full library"
5. Under "Available offers" you should see "EA Play"

From there it will ask you if you want to purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription which includes EA Play along with 100s of other titles, or just EA Play.

If you have EA Play for PC, then that is coming to Xbox Game pass for PC. If you have EA Play for Xbox, then that is what is going to be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from the 10th November.

Those games are not included in PC Game Pass but are included with EA Play which is included with PC Game Pass. As far as I know, EA haven't removed them.
