    Can't play downloaded movies


    Today I saw Free: Bleach on the tv & movies tab of the dashboard. I see that it was season one so I was gonna watch it. Then I noticed that could actually download them instead so I go ahead and download all of season 1 (20 episodes). That is when I notice
    that I can't play the videos. I check my active downloads and notice that some are still going so I wait. I go check my HDD and see that all of the videos are there. I go to System Video Player, Downloaded Videos, and there is nothing. It doesn't even show
    the videos as recently downloaded.

    I've tried everything. I've shut off my console, I've moved one episode to my internal drive (I have a slim system), I've tried the Windows Media Center, even tried looking under my PC.

    Does anyone know how to get it to work?

    Video Failed to download

    Error Message? It showed the default screen that Xbox shows when content can't be downloaded. I deleted all the cache items restarted the Xbox however I can not play the movie I paid for. I cannot download the movie. Please fix!!!

    Whenever I want to watch a movie I purchased I get an error message.

    Can't play.

    You need to use the Xbox Video app to play the episodes.

    Download error can't get the license needed for playback

    I have movie purchases on my Xbox 360 account and I got a new movie yesterday an Anime Yugioh Bonds Beyond Time but I can't download any of them because I'm getting the download error can't get licences needed how do I get my licences for all of the purchases

    But.. you have purchased the movie in question. If you buy a copy of something you should be able to download it. You have purchased a licence to own....
    Usually, you purchase a license to play the movie. You do not "own" a digital download. The publisher (i.e. the movie studio) can make up the rules on how you access your licensed right to watch the movie. If they allow a download, they you can download
    it. If they only allow streaming, then you can't download it and have to watch it while being online.

    Make sure you're using the latest version of the app. Go to My Movies, locate the movie, swipe up and select Delete. Then press download. If you can't find the movie in My Movies, search for it, then press download.

    Windows 8 / Xbox Video streaming / download issue

    I've got exactly the same issue with "Toy Story" on my Surface :(. I've downloaded multiple other movies with no issues at all, but this one always gives me a 0x80190194. This is really a deal breaker for me as a big use case is to play movies when WiFi
    isn't available, so download *needs* to work. I'm going to see if they will at least give me a refund for the movie if I can't download it.
