    Can't play digital games anymore


    My friend had set my account as his home xbox account on his Xbox and when I tried to set it back, it said that it could only be changed up to 3 times a year. I could no longer play any of the games which I played for on my Xbox after this happened.

    Hey Lynxxes,

    Have you tried a
    Factory Restore on your Xbox One console    ? If you haven't tried that, go ahead and follow those steps and be sure to select
    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Can't download digital games anymore

    I can't download any digital games or updates anymore after the latest system update. Every download ends in "installation stopped" immediately after hitting download. I've cleared local save data, reset the console, unplugged it, I have plenty of storage
    left. It only started after this newest update.

    You can still play your digital games, you'll just have to be logged in to Xbox Live with your account to do so.

    In addition to what Theory of Game mentioned, the account that you need to sign in is the account that holds the license of the games that you wanted to play.

    As for your limit in setting up My Home Xbox, you can reach Xbox Support to request for a one-time reset so that you can set your account back as My Home Xbox.

    Try another profile and see if the game will still freeze. If yes, then you may need ro restore the console back to factory default but keep in mind that you need to reisntall everything if you consider this process. If the game does not freeze using a different
    profile, try to remove and re-download your profile.

    backwards compatibility

    you can't buy the digital version of Driver San Francisco anymore. if you want to play it you have to buy a disk version of the game.

    Do you own this game or app? If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you're signed in to Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to buy it at the Xbox Games Store Issue

    Yeah I checked recent purchases and it did go through about a month ago that I purchased the game and passed it, but all of a sudden it's not there anymore and i can't play it, and i'm pretty sure you can't refund games bought digitally.
