    Can't play Dark Souls games online without a game pass?


    So I've been playing dark souls for a couple of months now, recently finished DS2 and am now onto DS3. I recently got rid of my game pass because I wasn't using it and noticed that I can now no longer play DS3 online? Do you have to pay for a game pass to play games online or is this just for dark souls?

    Because honestly I dont think I should have to pay for a game pass subscription to play a game online that I have already bought through the Microsoft store on a device that I have already spent 800+ dollars on.

    where are you at in the game?

    I'm lvl 518 on NG+ and going to ring second bell. My current goal is to get all the acivements but I have been flip flopping back and forth from Dark Souls to COD modern Warfare the first one but just campign since I can't play online. Also I have been playing
    on the unpatched version of the game since I haven't been able to hook up my new xbox to online since I got Dark Souls back. It sucks because the Giant Black Smith dosen't sell the upgrade materials without the update.

    There is a difference between my favourite game and the best game I've played. I think Dark Souls 3 is better than Dark Souls but Dark Souls is my favourite game ever.

    i hope you can switch off the forced pvp in Dark Souls as it was one of the biggest downsides that pretty much ruined my experience of the game.

    i do not play Dark Souls for pvp and there are a few bosses that i cannot beat without co-op and i hope that enemies now attack other players who invade in Dark Souls 2.

    Without having played Batman or Skyrim, Dark Souls is it for me at the moment, outstanding game which will keep you busy for many, many hours.

    Yea, dude, I hope they improve on the online play in the next one, as the Online play on Dark Souls is boo boo. It was near flawless on demons souls, but they seriously dropped the ball on Dark Souls. But I'm excited for it though.

    Games make me their slave. I can never get away from them for too long thanks to some awesome game coming out and especially when multiple awesome ones keep coming out back to back.
