    Can't play Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2


    Despite manually re-updating my X-Box 360 console (320 gb HDD Microsoft, brand new), I cannot play Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance II. The console recognizes the game, because it appears in the dashboard. When I try to play, I get the message Game Error...The
    game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.     It isn't a download, however, it is a disc (purchased from a top rated seller on E-Bay). Any thoughts, or do I have a bum disc? Thanks.

    Xbox Originals need a title update to function properly. If it's a Microsoft branded HDD then the title update might be corrupt. Browse to the game via storage and delete the update, clear the cache, reboot, and download the update again by launching the
    game to see if that resolves your issue.

    Do other Xbox Originals work? Where did you buy the HDD from? A lot of online retailers and ebay sell "new Microsoft HDDs" when they are counterfeit.

    Not only is baldurs gate 3 coming out but a double pack of baldurs gate enhanced and baldurs gate 2 dark alliance enhanced. I am looking forward to playing thrm all over again
