Can't play Backwards Compatible games

Discus and support Can't play Backwards Compatible games in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a gold subscription, and every time I try to start a game it says, "Disconnected from xbox live" and I can't sign in....     Can't play Backwards Compatible games


    I have a gold subscription, and every time I try to start a game it says, "Disconnected from xbox live" and I can't sign in.

    Minecraft: Xbox 360 and One edition

    No,i'm afraid not.Each console has their own version of Minecraft so you can't play between the two consoles.

    The only time you can do that is on backwards compatible games but Minecraft isn't backwards compatible.

    "brandiesel1" is correct, unofficial hard drives usually cannot perform backwards compatibility. However, not all listed games are actually backwards compatible anyways. Sorry, you can't play your game.

    That game is not currently backwards compatible so it can't be played on the One. You can find a list of backwards compatible games here

    If it's not backwards compatible (and this game isn't) then no, it won't work. You can view the backwards compatibility list
    here. If a game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox One.
