    Can't play at the same time as my son


    Hi me and my son both have xbox ones, we both have xbox live subscriptions and separate gamer tags, for some reason recently it will not let us play at the same time unless one signs the other out? He likes to use some of my content and was working fine previously until I had to reboot due to error message, someone please help its driving me insane

    Yes to both however on your console you have to be signed in online to play all your games

    Only your profile can roam

    Is the console he's using the one you set as your Home? He can only access your games on that console without you being signed in.

    That's a very good question. I don't know which one I set as the home console it was so long ago. I will check though. So, only the xbox one that is set as the home console can play my games without me being signed in? Also, if I set his up as the home console, will I still be able to log onto my xbox on my profile and play all the games I've purchased?

    Hi Zeroice,

    The issues began before I cancelled the subscriptions.

    My son's still can't play shared games unless my profile is logged in

    But if I'm logged in to one xbox, then it logs me out of the other xbox.

    So both son's can't play at the same time, why can't they play these games from their profiles?
