Can't play any of the games from Master Chief Collection

I downloaded The Master Chief Collection from Xbox Game Pass for PC, but when I go to play any of the games, it gives me an error saying that the game is not downloaded and I must go to download it. I get an error when I click the link saying to try again later and that it should probably work again. Hint: it doesn't. Here are some pictures to let you know what's going on.

When starting up the game, it asks which one you want to launch. Launching either one ends in the same error message, anyway.

This example is for Halo Reach. It does this for all the games in the collection. I can't even play multiplayer.

This is the error that I get when I do try to go and download the game. I tried this error yesterday, and I got the same error.

I don't know what the issue is here, why I can only download what is essentially the GUI but not the actual exes I want to play. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it didn't work. I installed it on a drive with enough space, so that's not the problem. Can someone please help?

From my research, the Xbox One Master Chief Collection is not backwards compatible with the xbox 360/original xbox version of the games, you must both have the Master Chief Collection and have an Xbox One to play CoOp online or locally.

Gamepass pc games must be signed in to be used that as a given

You do know that gamepass is NOT sharable any otherway right?

Ah, the problem is that I wasn't logged into the right account on both the Microsoft store and the game pass app. Logging into my alternate account didn't allow me to play the game, even though it worked with other games. It would be helpful if they highlighted this fact.

Well halo reach isn't part of the mcc as it's not part of the master chief story

It's an paid add-on to the mcc just like odst

Only the multiplayer matchmaking is free fyi

Reach is about team noble and tou play noble 6 and odst is about the rookie and buck hence why they weren't included

Halo reach and odst get an HD update with mcc vs the gamepass odst and reach which are 360 copies since the HD remakes makes them xbox one games it removes the region locks that occurs with 360 games

Onto your problem did you sign up for halo waypoint ? Not.sure if there is a pc app but did you check for the waypoint app t?

Waypoint is needed for all halo games and it is something that mcc requires since it affects your matchmaking and armor abilities on the console anyways so either you need to link your waypoint to your xbox account it's how you get bonuses like reach multiplayer or your recon armor on odst or halo 3 which requires certain achievements to be done
