Can't play a game I bought digitally on my account

So I bought an downloaded Far Cry 4 on my account, about a day later I tried to give it to my brothers Xbox (he said he knew what he was doing). He eventually started playing it on his account, until recently it wouldn't work for him, and said he needed
a disk. We were both playing together on separate accounts until this happened. Mine was fine until today where it is now asking me for a disk as well?????? I bought the game on my account I have no idea why it is telling me this.

Note: I tried making the xbox I use my home, but it says you can only have one, and change it 3 times per year. Shouldn't I be able to play it on my account no matter what??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Overwatch players banning other players because they do not like their character picks?

Same thing happend to me. Ruined not only overwatch but all online play for me. I also bought all my games digitally so I can't just make a new account.

 

Why won’t it work

I’ve purchased cod ww2 digitally on my xbox and it says to sign in with the account that bought this game yet I bought it on my account and everytime I open another game digitally on my xbox it says the same thing.

 

Sounds like your brother set his console as your Home console. That is the only way he would have been able to play the game that you purchased without your gamertag being logged in. You can only change that 3 times per year.

As for the game not working for you please head to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and click Clear Persistent Storage. Then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. This should solve the issue.
