Cant open netflix

Tried opening the netflix app and it just keeps freezing in the start up page and after a few seconds a message shows up saying "Sorry, looks like our services isn't working right. To check Xbox Live service status, go to https://support.xbox.com" and
i tried going to there but all my status is okay

Sorry to hear about your Netflix issue. Try power cycling your Xbox. Press and hold the power button for at least 8 seconds. Unplug the Xbox power cord for at least 10 seconds. Plug everything back in and restart. Let us know if this fixes your issue.

Hey there Alfred,

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems when attempting to launch Netflix. Are you running into this problem with your Xbox 360 or an Xbox One? Go ahead and attempt to

Physically Power Cycle the console and then try to launch the app again. It would be the same steps with both (Hold down the power button till it turns off, wait 15 seconds then power it back on.

In any case like this when you cannot launch your application and games we can do the basic trouble shooting to your Xbox one console. Here's how!

XBOX ONE: PERSISTENT STORAGE CLEARING

Home>Settings>Disc &Blu Ray>Persistent storage>Clear Persistent Storage 3x.

MAC CLEARING

Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear and Restart your console.

Then after that check if any changes occur.

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I am sorry to know about the app situation, but I want you not to worry about it because I al here to help you out! I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I
would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and perform a quick power cycle:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

If even after going through the previous troubleshooting steps the same situation is recurring, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then
restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you
to sign in to the account.
