    Can't open Minecraft Java edition?


    I got a new PC and am redownloading all my games. I bought Java Minecraft around 10 years ago and am trying to reinstall it on my new computer. But every time I try to launch it it says this:

    Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store and try again. Here's the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

    I am logged into Microsoft store but I don't understand how that makes a difference because I own Java Minecraft not Windows Minecraft.

    Can anyone help please?

    Hi TheaVS1, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Make sure to get the license for the Minecraft Launcher first which is free. On this link sign in and then click "Get" and then restart your PC.

    as its the java version your better off going to minecraft.net and signing in there and downloading, it will ask you to migrate accounts too.

    I've tried from Minecraft website because Java Edition is not avaible on Microsoft Store.

    Yes I can use credits on Microsoft Store, but can't find Minecraft Java Edition. I tought that Minecraft was a Microsoft's production, and that's why I sent a 25€ credit to my son on Microsoft account.

    Is there a fix for this? Will Minecraft Java Editon be avaible on Microsoft Store?
