Can't open menus or download games

I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern.

Solution 1. Power cycle your console

Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Solution 2. Do you have an external hard drive plugged in to the console right now?

If yes, can you unplug it and check if the issue still persist while the external hard drive is unplugged.

Solution 3. Try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

ok, I can't even uninstall this game from my xboxone, its stuck in the 100% downloading update queue

If I try to open stuff in the menu it does not load properly. wtf this game literally broke my system.

The problem with this troubleshooting guide is that my connection on the Xbox One is perfectly fine. My NAT Type is open, and all services are available. It's only when I load a backward compatible game and the 360 menu pops up is when I can't connect
to Live or even download another profile.

are you able to start a 360 game ? If yes start a 360 game and press the "view" and "menue" buttons (the 2 below the Xbox button) at the same time to open the 360 menue. Now download your profile anew.

After the download restart the console and try again to play the game.

I have the same problem. Can't open any games. Tried downloading Xbox insider hub. Can't open that either.
