Can't open apps or use online features

Gold grants you access to all online features.

Without it, just being silver, you can't play online or use any online apps and features.

Sadly none of these could work, one of the solutions need me to open apps and features settings but I can't even open settings

Check you NAT settings. Sometimes chat features can be wonky if certain ports are not open or forwarding correctly. Also are you doing a party through console, or the PC app?

Nat type is open and trying to open party via console. My account also says its offline and is on appear online and only shows me online if i go on the app.

I miss the feature where you could have a game open and view another app at the same time. Can't remember what it was called.

Can't have a separate subscription from an App subscription, unless the App subscription is cheaper because it doesn't allow access to MP servers. Because the apps are free. It's just you need gold to access online features.
