cant migrate from Mojang to microsoft - broken journey just goes round in circles.

My daughter has been happily playing minecraft on the mac for some years, until now.

Its now forcing the migration of easy to use mojang account to a difficult to use microsoft account.

If i hit the "migrate button", I can login to the mojang account no problem, and there is only one option "get started" Then it takes me back to the login screen, so I login with the mojang account again, hit get started, then It takes me to login, so I login with mojang account again. There is a "create a new microsoft account" at the minecraft login screen, but this link doesnt do anything - its dead.

There is no actual migration option, and no option to associated my mojang account with the microsoft account.

The user journey seems broken.

On top of this, I dont have a microsoft account. The link to create it in the minecraft login screen is broken (has no effect when pressed)

Thanks for the reply. I saw that article, but it seems to not resemble to reality. If I login using mojang on minecraft on mac, there is a button to migrate now. When I click on this, I have to login again. I login, and get the migrate now button again. etc. The "create microsoft account" link on the login page is broken - does nothing.

Microsoft flight sim won’t start download from store or Xbox.

It’s for Windows 10.

Support goes round & round in circles.

Call back fails as error their end.

Had this product since April.

as I mentioned before, you need to use the Microsoft account used during the migration process, it cant be your abc-xyz.com because that's not from Microsoft, and later become a business account but that doesn't affect the Microsoft account used for the migration of your Mojang account
