Can't merge Mojang account with Microsoft account

Hi there Hops welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. From experience unfortunately it seems only Xbox support or Microsoft can help in this case, as you need to unlink the Xbox account from the unwanted Minecraft account to be able to link your current account. I was advised by Mojang to create a new Microsoft account which I did to make the process faster.

Thanks, I'll either call them or create a new account. I have been on the forums for quite a while; just on a different account. Thanks though!

Let's set up your account then

Go to the top right corner, click on your avatar

click on xbox profile(warns me if it doesn't show up)

will open a green screen

click on privacy

will open another screen, with your gamertag and big photo in the center of it

below, it has 3 tabs, privacy, online security windows and xbox

in these 2 tabs, allow everything, and at the end of each one, click "send"
