    Can't make purchase on my MS account


    Alright, this is on the X-Box 360. When today started, I had $15 on my MS account. I made a purchase for $3.49. I tried to make another purchase, also for $3.49, and I get a message saying there isn't enough in my account (Status code: 8013AB07) The MS
    account payment option is now greyed out yet still shows $15 as the amount available. Any thoughts or ideas?

    On The X-Box One when I try to make a purchase, there are no account options at all. Should be my credit card and MS account. There is a highlighted box saying, "Add billing info to continue". When I select that all the correct information is already in
    the boxes there. As I go through all the information I finally get to a "Check your billing info" screen. I select "Save info". This returns me to where I started with the "Add billing info to continue" box, there has been no changes. Pretty annoying with
    the daily specials going on too. How do I get this straightened out?

    Why can't I use my MS account balance?!?

    Yes, I was trying to make the purchase on the website. How am I supposed to know that I can't use my MS account balance on the website? Not everyone stalks the forums before making a purchase!

    The website was more than happy to accept the prepaid code!

    If I can't make purchases on the website with my MS account balance, it should

    #1 - clearly state that I can't use MS account balance to pay for purchases via website

    AND

    #2 - it shouldn't accept the prepaid card code on the website!

    Now how do I use the MS account balance?

    Hi there, I'm trying to purchase a game, as I have 5.98 euros from my MS points credit account, but everytime I try to buy things, it asks me for a credit card (even though in my account details it shows that I have 2 credit cards registered as well as the
    MS points credit.

    why can't I make purchases?

    That error code does suggest there is not enough money in your account. I'm not entirely sure what's going on or why the system is saying you don't have money when you can see it. Please double check at commerce.microsoft.com

    Also, as this does seem to relate to billing I would recommend contacting phone support for more assistance with it. If you live in North America then you can dial 1-800-469-9269

    Error code 80153410 when attempting to purchase

    I have been perfectly able to do this in the past, no questions asked. And IF this was the question, then why the heck does not MS support tell me this, not to mention why should this lock my account so that I can't even purchase games with my credit card,
    that does not make any sense what so ever.

    And don't try and say that this is now my fault, or my card provider's. Had this been a bogus purchase, then yes I agree, but it wasnt.

    To be honest, if this was the case then MS could just refund the money back to my account, and unlock my account again.

    I'm sorry, but this whole mess does not make any sense...

    Gonna give MS support another call today and see if I can get anywhere with this.

    Bing rewards Question

    Bing can follow you around. No need to make two accounts. MS Points codes purchased with Bing Rewards points are not tied to the account that purchases the MS Points. I've given friends some of my 400 points codes. No issues.

    error code PUR3001-settings wont allow purchases

    MS customer services were pretty useless when I phoned up. Got 3 Xbox ones. One for my kid and he can't purchase a season pass for Ryse, but he can play it. All restrictions are off and he can make purchases on Xbox 360. The only thing Ms said was check
    website for Ryse and see if they have any restrictions on content for child accounts.

    Bought Minecraft as Gift but redeem code did not work!

    That is the account that I used to make the purchase. OK, if I log in to my MS account, that account has the purchase history, if I then switch over to my Xbox profile, staying in the MS account. That is the same profile that appears when I log in, for the refund process! It's the same account!!!

    Is that the issue, that my MS account is linked with the wrong Xbox profile, do I have another mysterious Xbox profile that I don't know about?
