Can't make my console my home console (3 times/year limit - WHO KNEW?)

I don't know about the console limit but there is a limit of how many times you make a console your home console that is 3 times a year.

If you want to share games only one person can do it on one console !

If the other person make it home console too, sharing will not work anymore !

That's the reason why switching to home console is limited to 3 times a year ...

I was under the impression only one console at a time can be the home console and you can only change it a maximum of 3 times a year. The limit isn't actually 3 consoles, it's 3 changes.

You will need to make sure that the console you are trying to access the games on is set as the home console for his account.

Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalisation, and then select My home Xbox.
Do either of the following to change the status of your console:
To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.
To remove this console as your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox and then Remove this as my home Xbox.

You can switch your home Xbox up to five times in any one-year period. If you reach your limit for the year, we'll show you the next available date you can change it.

I feel like there really isn't much more that can be added to this topic at this point. People have already mentioned the limit has been increased from 3 to 5 a year, it's a feature that's intended for households, and that the limit is there to prevent abuse.

All I can add is my own experience. I've had the console since launch, and haven't had to change my home Xbox once. If I've been on a friends console, then I just sign into my account without making it their console my home.
