Can't make hotmail an alias

Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account. If you try to add it, you'll get an error message "This account is already taken".

You can create/add an alias using an existing email address from other providers such as Gmail, Yahoo! Plus, or AIM Mail, as long as you haven't used the address to create a Microsoft account.

In addition to that, in order to change the email address associated with a Microsoft account, you need to follow these steps:

Go to Add an alias (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=864833). Sign in to your Microsoft account, if prompted.

Under Add an alias, do one of the following:

Create a new Outlook.com email address and add it as an alias.

Add an existing email address as an alias.

Select Add alias.

Notes:

You can't add an email address that's associated with a work or school account as an alias.

An alias or email address can only contain letters, numbers, dot (.), underscore (_) or dash/hyphen (-). Spaces and other special characters aren't allowed.

Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account.

It isn't possible to create a new alias using @hotmail, @live.com, or @msn.com. If a Hotmail address is important to you, you need to sign out and create a new account.

Unfortunately that’s not possible, is not possible to add an existing Microsoft email address associated with a Microsoft account

That's not possible, if you remove an alias from one account (if they are from the Microsoft domain: Live, Outlook, Hotmail) you can't use it on another account.

sorry if I’m still a bit hessident about this but I belive my dad’s email is a hotmail account, so if I make a new email and make that the primory alias will my dad’s hotmail account, which hes still using, be automaticly deleted even if it’s a secondary
alias? Also, will my dad still be able to use his email to sign into his microsoft account even if it’s not the primory alias?

Sorry if I’m repeating myself, again I’m making sure I cover everything so I don’t mess up my dad’s email.
