Can't Login to Microsoft Store - Account Converted to Office365

In Aug-2020 I purchased a copy of MS Flight Simulator and have the email receipt and order number. I only have and have ever had one email address, which is from a business I own. In 2020 I downloaded and installed MSFS.

Since then we have moved our company's email to Office365 so now my account is associated with Work from Microsoft.

I have a new simulator PC and want to login to the Microsoft Store to get my license entitlement. When I try to login it says "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one."

When I try to create one with the address that is tied to the game license I get "You can't sign up here with a work or school email address."

So how do I access my previous purchases now that we have moved our email? It is insane MS won't let you use Work accounts on the MS Store. What do people with corporate laptops do if they need an app for work?

Support has been so frustrating. I contacted the MSFS people and they said "not their problem" despite being Microsoft in name.

I have tried to transfer it bombed out, but I believe my account has a Office365 applied to my account - not that I use it, is there waiver or a way to disable or move the office365 account?

Would it be possible for me to create a new Microsoft email address for myself and have that linked to everything on my old email (Office365 subscription, computer login etc.) except xbox so my son can continue to use my old one?

Hi! I checked which user is logged in and I can confirm that she is logged in with the same credentials in Microsoft Store, Windows account, Roblox account and Microsoft site account. Still, I can't change the currency (actually I can't convert GBP to RON) in order to have the possibility to use the existing money in her account.

I also can't log in on the microsoft store. I created a different account on my computer with admin privleges and a local login. It was able to log in on both the xbox app and the microsoft store. So how do I fix my main account to allow me to log in on
that?

I believe, but could be mistaken, that the Microsoft account goes dormant after five years of inactivity. Since Microsoft accounts cover a lot of things (Xbox, Hotmail, Office365, etc.), the account could still be in use, even if the user isn't on Xbox
