Can't login even after resetting password

Hi, I've been having trouble signing into my other Microsoft account on my Windows 10 PC.

This is a new account so I don't have any of my purchases that I have on the other account but it repeatedly says I have the wrong password

I went through the password reset process and changed the password but it still tells me I'm putting in the wrong password and won't let me login.

I've tried on several devices and I can't login on any of them.

Is there a waiting period before the new password updates or is there something else wrong with my account?

Help with stupid ELITE!!!!

So I tried to login to elite but forgot my password. I got the reset link, clicked it and after trying to reset it, it gave me a message saying "password reset failed" I then tried to make a new account, but no........., the GODDANG register button is broken!!
can't believe they expect people to pay 50 bucks for this crap that dosent even work.

Sorry you're having issues logging in with your Gmail account. Please note that even though you login with your Gmail, that doesn't mean it's your gmail password. Passwords do not sync, and it's still a Live account. Head over to
this link to try to login. if you cannot login with your Gmail account then, try doing a
password reset here.

If you are sure you're logging in with the correct email and password that is set and you get the wrong password error please contact xbox support here about your account so they can take a look:

Click My Account > No thanks > Password and Security > Chat with xbox support.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue, but let's see what we can do to help.

Usually when you successfully change your password, it sends you confirmation that it was indeed changed.

Did you get a confirmation email?

There is no waiting period for your password update to go through, it should be instant.

If it's not going through on your devices, I would try it on a different network.

Try it while connected to another network and let us know if that helps resolve the problem
