Cant Log into or add a new account to my xbox.

I am unable to add a new account or sign into my existing account on my xbox even though my network and wifi are running normally and connected and the xbox network should be connected. Cant play any games on the guest account either. Looked at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-sign-in/2631bfc3-3fba-4bed-a970-7f7b393254ef and already and tried the answers but none work. So far I have done the power cycle multiple times, Restarted my console multiple times, restarted my modem multiple times, and even factory reset my console which set me back at square zero since I still cant log in. What can I do? is it a hardware issue? Thank You!

thanks for trying.. I am able to add a new email account without issues, the problem is when making it my primary account i cant log into xbox pc (beta) with it. Once i change the primary account back, it works again.

You may need to reset your console and try logging in again.

soft factory reset that XBF Eladio M suggested does not affect the progress of your games. The saved data for your games is uploaded to the

Xbox cloud while your console is connected to Xbox Live. Your console will download the saved data from the cloud the next time you log in to your account and play your game. We hope this information helps!

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are unable to add your account onto you console due to it "already being on this console".

In this instance, your best bet would be performing a soft
factory reset on your console. This will remove any accounts on your console and Home Xbox associations, so this will allow you to re-add your account without any problems.

I recommend that you use the Reset and keep my games & apps option as this will reduce the amount of time it takes to get back to gaming.
