    Can't log into my account after updating and deleting the old email.


    So I was going through my account updating everything (passwords etc etc) and i added a new email to use instead of my old one i was using since i first got my 360. I made the new one my primary email confirmed everything and then added two step verification
    to my account. Done with that went away for a bit came back and accidentally clicked remove on my old one not even thinking to look or read what the pop up said and pressed ok. Then felt like playing AC4 black flag and i couldn't log in to my account on my
    360 even though i put in my new email and password correctly. Did i F*** myself over by deleting my old email or can i recover from this with my account and not a new one?

    Sign in with Kinect!

    I had it recently where I had to manually sign in every time with my password when it use to just recognise me. But I'd forgot I had updated my account details online and changed my primary email address. All you have to do is delete your account on the xbox one and then log in with your updated email and password. Now I just say xbox on and it auto loads me in.

    not logging in period

    ok so my old account. after the update wants me to log into my email to sign in with the account to even use it!.. i have tried any emails i have and any passwords i ever used, and it wont log me on.. soo what your telling me is i just lost my account? bull

    I think where you went wrong was adding the 2 step verification try turning that off then adding your account to the 360 then if you want to turn it back on you can.

    Steeledwand I turned off two step verification and tried logging in again but that didn't work. The error messages says something like (my email and password is incorrect if you have two step verification use your app password) or along those lines. i did
    try the app password and that didn't work either. The code i get is this (8015D002) and i already did every single step that it has but it didn't help.

    Hi

    If you have loaded a phone number onto your account then it may be possible to log in using using this instead of your e-mail address on the
    xbox.com website. If this does not work you could also try following the

    forgotten account guide     here that may help you to recover the account.

    Lets make sure you are trying to sign in with the correct account with the correct email.

    so lets go to account.xbox.com and sign in and make sure the gamertag that shows up is the one your trying to sign into.

    are you just trying to sign in or are you trying to redownload your profile?

    IDK if it would help but my old email that was tied to my account was (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) my new one that i use to log into my account online is (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) and as i said i deleted my first email by complete mistake and now i can't access my xbox live account.

    Have you tried deleting your profile from your 360 then redownloading the profile to the console?

    Could having a long password screw me over xbox is telling me password between 8 and 16 characters and i have 23. (I tried downloading it again but it's telling me that.)

    That could very well be what the problem is the 360 does not like passwords longer the 16 characters so what is probably happening is that once it hits 16 it stops typing in your password because the password box only accepts 16 characters so thats why its
    saying the password is incorrect.
