    Can't Log into Minecraft using my Microsoft account.


    I recently got signed out of my Minecraft launcher, and when I tried to sign back in, it says I got my password wrong, even though I use the same password to sign into Microsoft Store. I received the same message after resetting my password. Also, whenever I get the message: "The password is incorrect. Please try again.", it tells me to get a code from an unfamiliar email as shown on the picture. The email be*****@mailfence.com is unfamiliar. I never used mailfence, or an email that starts with "be". I thought i might have got hacked, but i checked my activity on Microsoft, and google, and did not see anything unfamiliar. I don't know what to do. I have seen similar posts about the same problem, and noticed people were involved in adding someone on discord before getting locked out of their account. In my case, I was asked to join a discord server and got locked out after that. I speculate that the server could have stole some of my information, and made me get locked out. Later it prompted my to make a new gamer tag, and when I did, and tried to sign in to my Xbox account in google, my new gamer tag shows up, instead to the old one, and I no longer see my purchased items, even though it is on the same email. I really hope i do not lose my 30$ account. (I bought java + bedrock bundle).

    Some info you guys might need:

    1. I know my original gamer tag.

    2. I have all of my account info (email, password, and verification)

    Hi Lucas,

    So the email that used to be used to log into minecraft has a microsoft account. When I log in to the microsoft account specifically, I'm not sure if the account has been migrated. Like I said, I can't figure out how to log into an account to download minecraft.

    Honestly, maybe the account was migrated but to a stolen microsoft account? If that was the case, how would I get my game back?

    I am very sorry that you have lost access to your account, I understand you perfectly since a couple of months ago I went through the same situation, therefore I can give you some recommendations that may be useful for you. For example, the only option or solution there is for this type of problem is the account recovery form.

    There you will have to enter data from your account that you remember and the team in charge will examine your case and determine, based on the information provided, whether you are the owner of the account. Believe me, it is the only option to regain access.

    Keep in mind that this is only a Microsoft public forum where we are players like you who help other users with basic problems. This means that we are not Microsoft employees, nor can support help you recover your account since they are not authorized, remaining as only option said form mentioned above.

    IMPORTANT: It is recommended once you regain access to your account to activate two-step verification (MFA), this type of verification will increase the security of your account so that this type of thing does not happen again.
