    Can't log into migrated minecraft account


    Hi! I migrated my Minecraft Java account a while ago to this microsoft account, and now I can't sign into it. When I try to add the account to the minecraft launcher, I sign in through Microsoft, but it tells me I don't own a copy of Minecraft Java (obviously, I do, as I migrated my mojang account to this one). How can I fix that?

    Hi Lucas,

    So the email that used to be used to log into minecraft has a microsoft account. When I log in to the microsoft account specifically, I'm not sure if the account has been migrated. Like I said, I can't figure out how to log into an account to download minecraft.

    Honestly, maybe the account was migrated but to a stolen microsoft account? If that was the case, how would I get my game back?

    I'm logging in with my microsoft account, through the microsoft account log in.

    I've already migrated my account and it worked, because I played after it migrated. I've been having this issue after I changed to the new minecraft launcher they've released through the microsoft store, and I can't log in to Xbox Live through the Xbox app either.

    Hey, I can't log into minecraft after migrating my account to outlook.

    My issue is that when I was migrating, apparently I had a Microsoft account that shared the name and tag ofmy gmail account (*** Email address is removed for privacy *** for outlook) , and I was able to migrate it that way, but now I can't log in using that email anymore, and it's telling me to use my outlook account, even though I am.

    Is there a fix to this, or am I screwed?

    On the Launcher login page, you must click the button to go back to the accounts page, but then don't click on your existing account you want to log in or you will simply go back to the same cycle of issues that don't allow you to log in. You need to add a new account is counter-intuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account but after clicking to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in Launcher. After doing this, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to login to Launcher.
