    I haven’t been able to log into my account for about 3 weeks now. When the problem originally started i booted up my series s and as soon as it automatically tried to log me in I got a pop up that stated,”there is a problem, fix this on the web” and was directed to login.live.com. When I enter my account information on the website my browser acts like it’s forced to submit the information over and over again. Loading bar goes from full to new, address bar goes from login.live.com to account.live.com back and forth and then it tells me it can’t log me in due to “to many repeated authentication attempts.” I created another Microsoft account that I can log into just fine in order to get in touch with customer support. I Have been going back and forth with the support team, changed the password multiple times, logged out of my Xbox, tried logging in on my phone and on my laptop with different internet connections, waited 24 with no account activity, waited 72 hours with no account activity, WAITED 5 DAYS WITH NO ACCOUNT ACTIVITY, and still same result. I’m posting here because I’ve got very little hope in the support team that’s been handling my case and figured this was my last ditch option to get back into an account I’ve been using with no problem since I had an Xbox 360. If I can’t get back into my account I plan on washing my hands of Microsoft altogether because of no fault of my own, it seems I’ve been locked out of my account and no one on the support team handling my case seems to have any effective tactics to get me back into my account. Please help because I just wanna get back into my account.

    I saw a similar issue once related to this error message. The person used her phone number to create multiple accounts.

    Would you be able to use another phone number to log into the account?

    The phone/number I’m using isn’t the one associated with the account. The one that’s on there is my previous phone number that I no longer have. The support team usually asks if I have access to the number on the account. so, I know it’s not the one I’m currently using. I guess I could barrow someone’s phone and try to log in real quick, is that what your suggesting.?
