Can't log in to my xbox, since changing my email

So, I had to recently change internet providers and with that had to change my email. So, somehow that info showed on my xbox, and when trying to open and play a game, it ask for my new password. Which I provided....many, many times. Then it takes me to a screen that says I can't access anything until 1/31. I've tried everything to figure out a way to play my xbox, and so far nothing has worked. I'm not a kid, as a matter of fact I'm rather old, and have some computer knowledge, but this makes me furious that microsoft has control of my xbox. Hope that someone can help me with this.

In the post you mentioned changing internet providers which required you to change your email, but that this information showed up on your Xbox.

Your Xbox information would be attached to your old email and account information that was before the internet provider change where you made a new email unless you changed the email address for your Microsoft account.

Here is an article from support.xbox.com that can provide information on how to find your Microsoft account email address in case you don't know the old account information. If you don't find this information helpful select "Contact us" at the bottom of the page. Make sure you are signed into a Microsoft account to access the "request a call" feature.

Select these in the prompt to get to request a call:

What are you having trouble with > Account & profile
What's the issue > Forgot user name or email
Skip the next page that says "Have you tried this"
Select Request a call.

I have done both but to no avail. My recovery phone number has since changed and since I can't log in, I can't change the number.

Hey Geroges! I got on my account but i can't seem to get into my xbox profile since the person that hacked it changed the email. Do you have any idea how i can get my old xbox account back and not my microsoft email since i just got it. Please

I have checked the email on the console, and it's still his old email, but we can't log in on that profile any more. I also added my nephew to my friends list and his account is inactive since the issue has occurred.

Can I check which email is linked to an XBOX gamer nickname/tag to confirm if the account has been hacked and a new email has been added?

Shall I also have notification on my original email that his email has been changed?

Is it possible that Microsoft has done any changes on the systems, and it caused this issue?
