Can't log in to Fortnite on my sons Xbox. Just says "an unexpected error occurredwhile...

Thank you Marvina for your response. . I had already tried most of your suggestions and knew it was an Xbox issue rather than an account issue as my son was able to continue using his account on his brothers XBOX fine.

Ended up doing a full reset of the console which has now resolved the problem. 🙂

I do not have an X account so I am unable to see whether this issue has been resolved, my son's Fortnite account says this error, however, I can log in to their Fortnite account on my Xbox. Has there been any updates on a possible fix or when the issue will be resolved?

When my son trys to play any game that requires him to log into Xbox Live (ex: Fortnite, COD4) to play with others in network, he gets a screen that says he has to purchase Xbox Live or Live Gold. He already has an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. He
can download updates but can't log into Live at all. I have reset my internet and had my son hard reset his console; neither worked.
