cant listen to voice messages in xbox one chat

hi I used to be able to hear my kids leave me a voice message in chat in Xbox One but everytime I click to Play voice Message it says Try Again.. its been doing it along time.. as the xbox cell and windows App will not play the voice messages so
I would goto the xbox one but it doesn't play... I checked my network settings all connected and Open NAT

and no I don't have xbox live subscription but that shouldn't matter as it used to work without it...

nope didn't help

I did the chat with a gamer.. and he tried to help then said he look but never came back

I did the reset account and it allowed one of my chats to listen to the recorded messages … but when I check my group messages with voice messages it still says try again

it used to work a while back but then xbox updates itself and that's when it buggered up

and when I mean chats

I mean the built in Xbox Text messaging app where you can record audio... I have ones of both my kids in separate chat.. those voice messages work now... but the one where all 3 of us are in 1 group those voice messages still say Try again when you hit

Try going to the settings

then select the account tab

then select privacy & online safety

then select Xbox live privacy

Give access to outside parties

then finally configuring your account to custom setting reset your xbox

Hi there! I would suggest following the steps here https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/display-sound/troubleshoot-xbox-one-party-audio , i know the link says party chat but it follows the same troubleshooting steps.

Live is on the PC but it's not the same. I mean fully integrated. I can't even party chat or listen to voice messages on the PC
