    Can’t link PlayStation Minecraft


    I’ve already gone over to the Minecraft help and they were less than helpful. The issue at hand is my Microsoft Account claims I have already linked a PlayStation account to play Minecraft, which I never did before since I had no PlayStation. So this is a new PlayStation, new copy of the game for said PlayStation and existing Microsoft account.

    I have read up on everything and asked questions but only get told the exact thing that I have already read, and nobody seems to be willing to listen to the issue and offer any sort of assistance, besides “read this article you have already read, start a new Microsoft account, or find someone else to help”

    How to unlink microsoft accounts from the microsoft website that are connected to ps4,

    I can’t login to my ps4 minecraft account as it says its linked somewhere else.
    Even if you could unlink the account you wouldnt be able to link a different one.

    Per https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037725571-Minecraft-for-PlayStation-FAQ

    Note: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account. 

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.

    This is a Sony imposed restriction, not Microsoft/Xbox.

    Hi Lucas,

    I use two platforms, PlayStation 4 and iPhone with same Minecraft account.

    And I linked same Minecraft to my PlayStation network.

    That's really weird, since when you unlink a Minecraft/Microsoft account from a Playstation ID it can only be linked to the same Playstation ID.

    Are you completely sure you are signed in with the correct Playstation ID and trying to login with the correct Minecraft/Microsoft Account?
