    Can't link mojang account to microsoft account and license lost


    Hi,

    I have a mojang account to play minecraft java edition on and I'm trying to migrate my mojang account to my microsoft account. Whenever I click "migrate", my account page on minecraft.net opens but there's no prompt to do anything further. I've looked all over the minecraft website and my xbox profile and I can't find a way to migrate the accounts, apart from clicking "migrate" in the launcher which only brings me to my minecraft profile as mentioned before. Furthermore, it looks like my java edition license has been lost because I cannot click play anymore, even with my mojang account and my microsoft account signed in on the launcher, and as well as that, my minecraft.net profile management page doesn't show that I own java edition on the page "my games". There's only a button to buy now.
    I couldn't find anything similar to this on the forums so any help would be appreciated.

    You probably should explain them that you haven't migrated the account and that you made the purchase on the Mojang site before they require a Microsoft account for it, as Microsoft can't check the license of a Mojang account that hasn't been migrated yet

    How to get back access to Minecraft Java Edition after faulty Account Migration?

    I contacted Mojang Support again.

    They now tell me that my Mojang Account has not migrated to the Microsoft Account with the same email address, but to some other Microsoft Account.

    My Family has 3 other Microsoft Accounts. So I presume it is possibly one of those.

    All those Accounts have Minecraft licenses of their own. So possibly I have a Microsoft Account with a double license to Minecraft.

    I asked Mojang Support to what account my Mojang Account has migrated. I have yet to receive an answer.
