Can’t leave minecraft's xbox insider beta program, help.

Hello, i was wondering if you are part of the Insider Program on The Xbox One ? If you are you might want to check and see if you joined the Minecraft beta. I only say this because i’m in the insider program and my Minecraft would never load either until
a friend of mine asked if i was in the insider program beta and i said yes. Then he told me to leave the Minecraft beta program within the insider program and since then i’ve had no issues at all with minecraft. To check you go to the insider program app on
your Xbox One and then to to insider content and then click on Minecraft then leave the Minecraft beta. I hope this helps you out because i spent forever trying to figure out this problem.

you or one of you friends might have a beta version of Minecraft. if so leave the Insider program for the Beta version of Minecraft and then you might be able to play together. in the Insider hub app on xbox

If you have the Xbox Insider App (either on your PC or your Xbox One), start that app, and leave the Minecraft Insider Program.

Uninstall Minecraft and then install the non-beta Minecraft version again.

As Ackis already said: since this is an old thread, please create your own new thread.

In the mean time, ask the friend you're trying to connect to, if they joined the Minecraft Beta Insider program. if they are using a beta version that is newer than your regular version, you'll get that error.

Either ask your friend to leave the Insider Program for Minecraft, or join the Minecraft beta program yourself by downloading the Xbox Insider App from the Marketplace.

The version of Minecraft that you are playing (1.7.0.9) is a Beta version. Did you, or someone on your console sign up for the Minecraft Beta, as part of the Xbox Insiders program? Version 1.6.1 is the current retail release.

If you want to go back to 1.6.1 you will have to leave the Beta program, and then uninstall, and re-install Minecraft once you are out of the Beta. See the guide and FAQ here: https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2018/07/09/minecraft-beta-guide-and-faqs/
